Dr Niero Rajarubendra

Dr Niero is a urologist who is skilled in managing all urological conditions, including kidney stones, voiding dysfunction, urological cancers, PSA testing, blood in the urine, prostate enlargement and subspecialised in minimally invasive surgery for urological conditions. He has trained at major centres in Victoria and Tasmania followed by an international fellowship at one of the world’s premier laparoscopic and robotic centres in Los Angeles, California. Dr Niero has joined the Southern Consulting group to provide cutting edge general urological and uro-onological services to his patients. He is passionate about providing treatment options and modalities that are at the forefront of urological care globally to his local community and making these services accessible by all.

Dr Niero works in consultation with his patients to understand their needs, ensure informed decision making, and to find the best treatment options.
Accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015 after completing a six year training program at accredited tertiary centres in Victoria and Tasmania.
As a result of his extensive training, Dr Niero is skilled in managing all problems involving the kidney, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs. These conditions include cancer, stones, infection and voiding dysfunction.
Fellowship Trained
Dedicated two year high volume advanced laparoscopic and robotic fellowship at University of Southern California. Mentored by the world leaders in minimal invasive surgery.
COnsulting locations
Dr Niero consults and operates from multiple locations in the South Eastern region. He sees both private and public patients.
Mulgrave Private Hospital
The main rooms are located in Mulgrave in the newly constructed Day Surgery Centre. Frequent consultation and operating lists are available.
St John of God private hospital
Consulting suites at St John of God, located in Berwick. Here Dr Niero has regular consulting sessions and also operating lists.
WAVERLEY PRIVATE Hospital
Consulting suites at Waverley private hospital, located in Mount Waverley. Regular consulting sessions are held, as well as operating and urodynamic sessions.
